Join North East and Scotland Space Companies Set for Florida Trade Mission

Space North East England is joining forces with partners across the UK to lead a trade mission to Florida’s Commercial Space Week, 26–30 January 2026. The delegation will bring together innovative companies from the North East and Scotland to explore opportunities within one of the world’s most dynamic space ecosystems. Participants will attend major conferences — including the GSA Spaceport Summit, Space Mobility Conference, and SpaceCom 2026 — alongside site visits to leading organisations such as SpaceX, Blue Origin, Airbus Satellites USA, and NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. The mission will also include academic exchanges, investor pitch sessions, and B2B matchmaking designed to strengthen transatlantic partnerships and open doors to new commercial and research collaborations.


Mission Deliverables:


• Opportunity to attend 3 conferences taking place that week 1. the GSA Spaceport Summit (27 JAN), 2. the Space Mobility Conference (28 JAN), and the 3. SpaceCom 2026 (29-30 JAN).


• Visit to the Space Coast to explore commercial opportunities with companies such as: SpaceX, Blue Origin, Airbus Satellites USA, Space Forge, Acme AtronOmatic, Boeing, NuView, Relativity Space, among others. (Tour of NASA & Kennedy Space Center)


• Meetings between Florida’s top space universities: University of Central Florida (UCF), University of Florida’s Astraeus Institute (UF), Florida International University (FIU), Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, among others.


• B2B meetings through tailored matchmaking


• Pitch Session with local investors in the space sector


• UK-Florida Space Industry Roundtable including top Florida Space officials
