JB Components

JB Components supports customers from initial concepts, sketches and existing components through to prototypes, finished parts, assemblies and repeat production.

Our in-house capabilities include fibre laser cutting, press-brake bending, MIG and TIG welding, drilling, engraving and assembly. We regularly cut materials such as aluminium, mild steel, stainless steel, galvanised steel, Corten, brass and copper, and are happy to assess other metals and specialist requirements.

Our flatbed laser can cut parts up to approximately 2,980 × 1,480 mm, with larger-format cutting available through our established supply chain. We can bend components up to four metres long and work with material thicknesses up to approximately 8 mm, subject to material, length and component geometry.

With no minimum order quantity, we can support one-off parts, R&D projects, prototypes and ongoing production. We can manufacture from customer drawings and CAD data or assist with design development, reverse engineering and design for manufacture.

We also supply bespoke aluminium extrusions, GRP, XPS foam and insulated panel materials. These products are used across sectors including refrigerated and temperature-controlled vehicle bodybuilding, commercial vehicles, cold stores, welfare units, recreational vehicles and composite panel manufacture.

Through JB Components and the wider Service Metals Group, we have extensive experience adapting products, materials and sourcing knowledge from the road transport sector to new applications.
