Space Agency launches £625,000 space surveillance competition

The UK Space Agency and National Space Operations Centre (NSpOC) have launched the BOREALIS Resident Space Object (RSO) Characterisation Development Competition, with up to £750,000 available for innovative UK organisations.
This competition focuses on Space Domain Awareness, supporting the development of novel technologies that enhance the detection, characterisation and analysis of resident space objects.
Working closely with NSpOC, the initiative will help improve the quality and usability of data feeding into the BOREALIS system, strengthening the UK's ability to understand and monitor activity in space.
