The Royal Society has opened the call for proposals for its 2026 Summer Science Exhibition, inviting UK-based researchers from academia, industry, and science-related sectors to showcase their innovative and interactive research. The exhibition will take place from 30 June to 5 July 2026 in central London, offering a platform to engage with over 10,000 visitors, including members of the public and school students.
Exhibits should be engaging, accessible, and interactive, designed to captivate a diverse audience. The Royal Society provides support, including exhibit space, Wi-Fi, power, IT support, and guidance on exhibit design and delivery. Additionally, a support fund of up to £5,000 is available to assist with exhibit costs, and teams located outside London may apply for additional funding to support travel and accommodation.
The deadline for submitting proposals is 8 October 2025. For more information and to submit a proposal, visit the Royal Society's official page.
