Kielder Observatory has announced an exciting new partnership as it expands its footprint to include the Twice Brewed Inn Observatory. Effective September 1st, 2025, this collaboration signifies a significant advancement in extending high-quality astronomy outreach to a broader audience.

Situated within the Northumberland International Dark Sky Park, Twice Brewed Inn features a state-of-the-art 30-seater planetarium and a collection of dobsonian telescopes, hosting successful stargazing events since its inception in early 2020. With over 250,000 visitors since 2008, Kielder Observatory annually welcomes more than 20,000 visitors and engages in extensive outreach programs across schools and community venues throughout the region. The addition of stargazing events at Twice Brewed, facilitated through dedicated astronomy outreach facilities adjacent to the Inn, further enhances accessibility to astronomy experiences alongside culinary offerings, comfortable accommodations, and a selection of fine beverages.
