Inspiring the Next Generation with STEMAZING
At Space North East England, we know that building a thriving future workforce starts with inspiring young people today. That's why we're shining a spotlight on STEMAZING, a not-for-profit Community Interest Company dedicated to improving inclusion and representation across STEM.
STEMAZING supports women and professionals working in STEM to become confident and visible role models through its STEMAZING Inspiration Academy. Participants develop their public engagement skills before delivering engaging, hands-on workshops to primary school pupils, helping children connect STEM learning to real-world careers and opportunities.
Alongside this, the STEMAZING Mentor Training Programme equips individuals of all genders with the skills and confidence to become effective mentors, supporting women working in STEM through structured mentoring and ongoing professional development.
Both programmes are CPD accredited and contribute towards Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) objectives, helping organisations create positive social impact while supporting diversity and inclusion in the STEM workforce.
By empowering role models and fostering meaningful connections, STEMAZING is helping to inspire the next generation of innovators, engineers, scientists and space sector professionals.
