Leonardo has launched new opportunities through “Solvers Wanted” its technology-scouting platform connecting the company with startups, researchers and organisations developing emerging and disruptive technologies.
Current opportunities include:
Enabling Sustainable Space Operations: technologies supporting the identification, extraction, processing, storage and transportation of lunar and planetary resources
Photonic Technologies: solutions spanning photonic computing, neuromorphic imaging, smart optical materials and optoelectronic co-integration
Discovering Future Technologies: an ongoing scouting initiative covering artificial intelligence, advanced computing, future sensing, low-observability technologies and resilient materials
The opportunities are open to relevant organisations including startups, innovative SMEs, universities, research centres, laboratories and industrial organisations, depending on the individual challenge.
Selected sustainable space operations projects can receive funding of up to €50,000 each and participate in a 12 to 18-month co-development programme with Leonardo Space teams.
