Applications open for the Airbus Launchpad

Airbus has launched an expression of interest for the second cohort of its Airbus Launchpad programme, offering UK space SMEs a six-month, no-cost residency at the company’s Stevenage headquarters.
Successful applicants will have access to Airbus experts, workspaces and specialist laboratories supporting areas including simulation and modelling, military space, advanced robotics, rapid prototyping and testing. Participants can also take part in workshops, accelerator activities, events and opportunities to demonstrate their technologies.
The programme is supported by the UK Space Agency’s Space Clusters Infrastructure Fund and aims to help SMEs develop their technologies, strengthen their capabilities and build connections across the UK space sector.
Space businesses in the North East are encouraged to find out more and submit an expression of interest.
