Critical Materials Supply Chains Investment Readiness 2026

Applications are now open for Innovate UK's Critical Materials Supply Chains Investment Readiness Programme 2026, supporting UK SMEs in the critical materials sector to prepare for investment and accelerate their growth. 

Delivered over 12 weeks, the hybrid programme will help participants refine their investor pitch, strengthen investment materials, build confidence in engaging with investors and gain valuable insight into the funding landscape. 

Participants will also have the opportunity to connect with industry experts, mentors and fellow innovators, with selected businesses pitching to investors at an in-person showcase event in January 2027. 

The programme is open to UK-registered SMEs developing hardware or software solutions across the critical materials value chain that are planning to raise investment within the next 6 - 12 months. 

Expression of Interest applications close on 4 September 2026. 

Applicants must submit a maximum five-minute video introducing their company and technology.
