About the event
Find out more about the next round of UK Space Agency funding and update on the North East Space Skills and Technology Centre (NESST). This session will feature the UK Space Agency’s National Space Innovation Programme team introducing NSIP Call 2, alongside an update from Northumbria University on the North East Space Skills and Technology Centre (NESST). Join us in person at NETPark or online.
The UK Space Agency’s National Space Innovation Programme (NSIP) is preparing to launch its second funding call, aimed at supporting UK-based R&D projects developing innovative space technologies, applications, and services.
The scheme will offer co-funded grants to help de-risk high-potential projects with strong market potential, the ability to attract private investment, and benefits to wider society.
As with the first call, funding will be offered through two strands:
Kick Starter – for disruptive, early-stage innovations
Major Projects – for scaling commercially promising ideas
