Local Spotlight: Simon Land – Senior Engineer Director, Inotec Solutions Ltd

Inotec Solutions Ltd have been involved at multiple levels with both fixed and rapidly deployable secure and resilient networks for a number of years. Their portfolio of skills includes equipment and system design and manufacture, infrastructure installation and maintenance, business continuity, disaster recovery and multi-layer resilient network planning and implementation.

They have developed deployable 4G and 5G integrated systems, comprising of both Space (satellite) and Ground Segment (earth based) systems which can add value to critical workers by optimising their communications and output to their end service users.

Simon will be giving an overview of using Satellite communications for resilience, security and safety and discuss some events they have provided these services for and the clients that have benefited from their services over the last 10 years.

Tina Jaeger, Senior Trade, and Investment Advisor, DBT - Germany

Tina will give an overview of her current role within DBT with the aim of supporting international collaboration helping Aerospace and Space Companies in UK and Germany. Tiny will give an insight into Germany and its current priorities and market focus.

Paul Clark – Head of Commercial Services, Umi Ltd

Following the recent announcement that Durham based Umi secured the contract to deliver Ignite Space with the UK Space Agency, we welcome Paul Clark to present opportunities for the North East space community.

Ignite Space, a free two-day dynamic SME-focused event, serves as a vital platform to showcase emerging businesses in the UK space sector as well as the extensive support available. This event will be held in Leeds on the 11th and 12th of June 2024.
